Come down to our AGM (Annual General Meeting) where we will be looking back at all the success we have achieved in 2009/2010.

The eagerly awaited manifestos for next year’s committee are out!
This year’s AGM will be held in The Blackett Laboratory (Physics Department), LT1 on Wednesday 24th March at 3pm

Sanskriti – Sewa Week 2010

Imperial College Hindu Society proudly presents Sanskriti! Join us for dinner and entertainment to mark the grand finale of Sewa Week 2010.
This year is extra special as we are celebrating our 10TH ANNIVERSARY!!

We’ll be looking back at all the success we have achieved with committees from past and present. This event is truly unmissable!!

Full 3 course meal with fabulous entertainment including performances, sangeet and comedy.

Tickets are on Sale NOW- Everyday in SAF (Sir Alexander Fleming Building) from 12-2pm!

All proceeds go to our charities Ekal Vidyalaya and Care Education

5-A-Side Charity Football Tournament – Sewa Week 2010

Its back… Hindu Soc’s Annual Football Tournament!

Fancy yourself as the new Beckham? Think you got the skills to match Ronaldo? Then grab your mates and take part in the Hindu Soc Charity Football Tournament.

£20 per team

The tournament has been POSTPONED and will now take place on the Wednesday 10th March. The winners will be presented with their prize at our annual entertainment evening, Sanskriti.

Volunteering Activities – Sewa Week 2010

This year we have chosen two projects which provide you with an opportunity to get actively involved with sewa, ‘Thames 21’ and ‘Iskon – Food for Life’

Event: Thames 21
Description: Trinity Buoy Wharf river clean up. Wellies and waterproofs will be provided.
Location: Leamouth beach near East India Dock.
Date: Saturday 6th March
Time: 10.00am – 12.30pm.

Event: Iskcon – Food For Life
Description: Helping to serve food to homeless people.
Location: Radha Krishna Temple, Soho
Date: 8th-10th March
Time: 5pm onwards

A group of 4/5 people can go and help out at Soho Temple. We have been asked to try and get there at 5pm to help prepare the food. If that is not possible, you can get there around 6:30 latest to go with them to help serve the food and clear up afterwards.
